I am friends with the author, and *may* have been present near the start of the book when she finds herself in the heat of passion with a beautiful stranger in a NYC nightclub... haha! I love the honesty portrayed here, and following what "Miss Skylar" achieves helping others in as a volunteer social worker in Harlem -- while navigating her own desires in the off hours. Plus surprisingly hilarious adventures like how she uses a prayer altar during a silent retreat, or a teddy bear at the side of the highway .. ohh and wait til you learn what can happen by wearing polyester pants in summer! I thoroughly enjoyed Skylar's adventures, she is warm, caring, thoughtful and dedicating to giving back to humanity. By the end she learns what she wants and deserves, and is determined to go after it. A lesson for us all. Looking forward to the next installment...Product details
